Andre has 25 years of experience advising clients on commercial and regulatory aspects of new projects and business transactions in a range of industries, including pipelines, terminals, real estate, banking, manufacturing, distribution and retail. Prior to returning to Smith Mack Lamarsh, and after 11 years in private practice, Andre spent eight years as Senior Legal Counsel with a multi-national pipeline company, where he worked on commercial and regulatory components of major greenfield infrastructure projects and three years as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for a pipeline construction and engineering company. Prior to joining the legal profession, Andre had spent three years working as an economist, building large scale econometric models to forecast energy demand and energy prices. His interest in economics continues to this day.
